KatadataOTO – The arrival of the iCar is highly anticipated by many parties. Including automotive enthusiasts in Malaysia.

Reporting from Paultan on Thursday (27/11), this electric vehicle (EV) has officially launched in the neighboring country.

"Like the (iCar) 03 model, the V23 will be offered in two variants," wrote the Malaysian media outlet.

Paultan reported that the first type of the iCar V23 is 2WD. Then, consumers in Malaysia can also choose the iWD variant.

In terms of specifications, the iCar V23 is equipped with a motor producing 100 kW or 134 Hp. Then, the peak torque reaches 180 Nm for the RWD type.

To support the performance above, it is equipped with a 59.93 kWh LFP battery. It can travel up to 360 km on a single charge (NEDC).

Meanwhile, the iCar V23 iWD carries a 55 kW electric motor, equivalent to 74 hp. Then, the maximum torque reaches 112 Nm at the front.

Furthermore, the rear is equipped with a 100 kW or 134 Hp motor and 180 Nm of torque.

In total, the iCar V23 iWD can produce 155 kW or 208 hp and 292 Nm.

It is also paired with an 81.76 kWh NMC battery. It is claimed to be able to travel up to 430 km on a single charge.

Regarding the dimensions of the iCar V23, it has a length of 4,220 mm, a width of 1,915 mm, and a height of 1,845 mm.

In Malaysia, the iCar V23 is offered in several color options. Starting from Off Road Orange, Khaki White, Army Green, Slate Silver, Gravel Grey, and Carbon Black.

Each purchase comes with a seven-year or 150,000 km warranty for the vehicle.

Furthermore, there is a guarantee for the battery and motor components for eight years or 160,000 km.
