KatadataOTO – Jaecoo has brought a number of its products to Indonesia. Such as the J7 and J8 which are offered to consumers.
Unfortunately, the exact prices of the two cars have not yet been announced by the Chinese manufacturer.
This has made several parties wonder, as they have been taking pre-orders for the Jaecoo J7 and Jaecoo J8 for some time now.
"Why haven't we released the prices for the J7 and J8? Because we want to ensure dealer readiness first," said Agustian Ferikles, Head of Sales for the Jaecoo Indonesia Brand in West Jakarta, Wednesday (28/05).
Agustian stated that this Chinese brand wants to provide the best for consumers in the country.
So that it can provide the best experience when people own the Jaecoo J8 and J7.
"In addition, we are still trying to formulate the right price, please stay tuned," he added.
Meanwhile, a similar sentiment was also expressed by Mohamad Ilham Pratama, Head of Marketing for Jaecoo Indonesia.
Ilham stated that they are currently looking for the right price tag for both cars.
"Right now we are indeed creating the best formula (for the price of the Jaecoo J8 and J7)," said Ilham on the same occasion.
Nevertheless, Ilham assured that consumers will not have to wait long for the price announcement of the new Jaecoo cars.
"Hopefully, before GIIAS 2025 we will have announced it (the price of the Jaecoo J7 and J8)," Ilham added.
However, Ilham was not yet willing to reveal the exact date of the price announcement event for their four-wheeled vehicles.
"We hope to announce them at the same time, or perhaps on different days to keep the momentum going," Ilham asserted.
It should be noted, pre-bookings for the Jaecoo J7 were already opened during the IIMS 2025 exhibition a few months ago.
In that program, Jaecoo offered an exclusive package including a home charger, a V2L adapter, and free insurance.
Meanwhile, the pre-booking price offered for the Jaecoo J7 is Rp 549 million for the AWD variant. Then, the SHS (Super Hybrid System) type is priced at Rp 599 million.
Next, the Jaecoo J8 was exhibited at the same event. If you intend to order it, the pre-booking price for this vehicle is Rp 710 million.
So, it is worth waiting for the prices that Jaecoo will offer for the J7 and J8 to consumers in the country. Considering GIIAS 2025 will be held from July 23 to August 3.
