Previously, Jaecoo had chosen to announce the price of the J8 first, at around Rp 800 million.
The Jaecoo J7 is available in two types: AWD or all-wheel drive and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV).
“We believe this lineup will be an attractive new choice for SUV consumers in Indonesia,” said Max Zhou, Country Director of Jaecoo Indonesia in Tangerang, on Wednesday (23/07).

Meanwhile, the plug-in hybrid variant uses a 1,500 cc turbocharged engine combined with an 18.3 kWh LFP battery.
The combination of the two is said to allow the car to travel 1,300 km on a single charge and a full tank of gasoline.
