KatadataOTO – PT JLM Auto Indonesia, the official distributor of Jaguar Land Rover in Indonesia, will launch several new models in 2025. This is important as they aim to be more aggressive in capturing the domestic market.

The products are the Defender Octa and the Defender Trophy Edition, which are planned to arrive mid-year. Both are claimed to have different characters with their own respective advantages, so it is hoped that customers will find it easier to choose.

The Defender Octa combines toughness and luxury. The car is equipped with 6D Dynamics Suspension technology, making it more comfortable to use.

This model is also claimed to have the most formidable performance compared to other variants. The manufacturer has equipped it with a 4.4-liter V8 Twin-Turbo Mild-Hybrid engine capable of producing 635 hp and 750 Nm of torque.

Thanks to this, the car can reach a speed of 100 km per hour in 3.8 seconds from a standstill.

Meanwhile, the Defender Trophy Edition comes as an attractive option for customers. It is available in three color packages: Sandglow Yellow, Keswick Green, and Santorini Black, each fitted with a special livery.

The Defender Trophy Edition is based on the Defender 110 P400 X-Dynamic SE model and includes the Extended Black Exterior Pack, Tow Hitch Receiver, ClearSight, and Air Suspension for off-road capability.

Additionally, the car is also fitted with various accessories such as an expedition roof rack, front undershield, deployable ladder, mud flaps, snorkel, and rubber mats. Various Land Rover off-road technologies are retained, including Terrain Response 2 and an active locking differential.

“We are very enthusiastic about introducing the Defender Octa and Defender Trophy Edition in Indonesia. This is because this car offers significant improvements in performance and technology, in line with Land Rover's standards for delivering premium off-road vehicles,” said Kurniadi Setiawan, Sales & Marketing Director of JLM Auto Indonesia, to the media (18/03).

Unfortunately, as of this writing, they have not yet confirmed exactly when the two models will be launched in the country.
