June 2025 Electric Car Prices: Chery J6 Increases by Around 7 Million Rupiah

KatadataOTO – The choice of electric cars in Indonesia is increasingly diverse. Recently, BYD introduced the latest version of its flagship sedan, the Seal.

The newest BYD Seal now gets a refresh, featuring a new suspension technology called DiSus-C.

Compared to the previous model, the BYD Seal facelift has seen a price increase of around IDR 3 million.

Only a few models experienced a price increase in June 2025. Chery raised the price of two J6 electric car variants by around IDR 7 million.

Meanwhile, other models remain stable, with no adjustments in June 2025. For example, the BYD Dolphin is sold from IDR 369 million to IDR 429 million.

Meanwhile, the Sealion 7 is still offered at IDR 629 million for the Premium type. The variant above it, the Performance, is priced at IDR 719 million.

Denza is rumored to be bringing a new model to the premium segment, the Z9 GT, which was exhibited at IIMS (Indonesia International Motor Show) 2025.

Although not yet officially launched, a number of sales representatives have opened pre-orders with an estimated price of IDR 1.1 billion, more expensive than the D9 MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) at IDR 950 million.
