Just Launched, GWM Ora 03 Set for Delivery to Consumers in August 2025

KatadataOTO – GWM Ora 03 officially went on sale in Indonesia yesterday, Thursday (26/06). The electric car can now be ordered by consumers.

The brand from China ensures that GWM Ora 03 buyers will not have to wait long to get their units.

“If you buy now, God willing, we will be ready in August,” said Martina Danuningrat, Strategy & Marketing Director of GWM Indonesia in Jakarta.

She further stated that for the initial phase, they will be delivering units that are still Completely Built Up (CBU).

This is because this Electric Vehicle (EV) is initially shipped directly from China, not yet produced domestically or at the Wanaherang factory in Gunung Putri, Bogor, West Java.

“By the end of this year, we will start with Completely Knocked Down (CKD),” Martina continued.

Martina also hopes that the GWM Ora 03 will be well-received by domestic consumers.

Moreover, its presence adds another option for electric four-wheeled vehicles with a competitive price tag in Indonesia.

“We are confident and positive that the market (for electric cars) is still quite large in Indonesia,” Martina affirmed.

For your information, the GWM Ora 03 relies on an electric motor with a maximum power of 143 hp and a peak torque of 210 Nm.

It is then paired with a 47.8 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate battery, which is claimed to be able to travel up to 400 kilometers on a single charge (NEDC).

For charging, the GWM Ora 03 is supported by a 69 kWh DC Fast Charging system.

Charging from 30 percent to 80 percent only takes 30 minutes.

The performance offered is also quite capable, able to accelerate from 0–100 km/h in just 8.3 seconds.

If you are interested in owning this electric car, you must prepare a fund of Rp 379 million. This amount is already On The Road (OTR) for Jakarta.

However, there is a special price if consumers want to buy it from June to August 2025, which is only Rp 369 million.

Lastly, Martina revealed that there are a number of benefits for consumers who want to buy the GWM Ora 03.
