KatadataOTO – Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition has successfully attracted the attention of Dark Knight fans around the world. This is because the model is claimed to be the first Batman-designed SUV to be sold freely.

This car is also a limited edition, as Mahindra is only producing 300 units, sold exclusively in India.

Reporting from Carscoops, the development was not done carelessly, as the Indian manufacturer has collaborated with Warner Bros Discovery Global Consumer Products. This ensures the result is as optimal as possible.

It should be noted that the inspiration for the modification comes from the Batman trilogy directed by Christopher Nolan. From there, development was carried out on various aspects, both exterior and interior.

On the exterior, the Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition has been fitted with a satin black color and additional gloss black accents. Its appearance is more attractive thanks to the presence of a Batman decal on the front door that matches the 20-inch alloy wheels.

To enhance the look, the car also has several bat emblems installed on the hubcaps, rear bumper, windows, and rear bumper. Interestingly, Mahindra has installed an illuminated Batman logo-shaped light on the roof of the vehicle.

But an equally interesting unique feature is the presence of a Bat-Signal on the side of the vehicle.

Entering the cabin, the appearance is also very much Batman-themed. Mahindra has upholstered the interior using a combination of black leather and suede, along with some gold-toned garnishes.

The Batman logo silhouette has also been embedded in several parts such as the seats and dashboard. Even the head unit will display Batman graphics when the car is started.

To make it more exclusive, a plate with the vehicle's serial number has been embedded in the center console.

Despite having various developments on both the exterior and interior, nothing has been changed in the powertrain sector. The car is equipped with a 79 kWh capacity battery, enough to travel up to 550 km.

This power is then channeled to an electric motor producing 282 hp and 380 Nm of torque. Uniquely, the car is equipped with sounds inspired by the Batmobile to give it more character.

Although it is a special edition, the unit is priced quite competitively. This is because customers only need to spend around Rp 440 million, only about Rp 16 million more expensive than the standard version.
