Mazda CX-6e Global Debut, Potential Replacement for MX-30 in Indonesia

Mazda successfully booked 243 Vehicle Order Forms (SPK) at the IIMS 2025 automotive exhibition, reportedly exceeding its initial target of 200 orders.
KatadataOTO – Mazda recorded 243 SPK (Vehicle Order Letters) during the IIMS 2025 event which took place from February 13-23, 2025. This figure is claimed to have surpassed their initial target of 200 units.
Referring to data received by KatadataOTO on Friday (28/2), the highest number of orders was contributed by the SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) CX-5, with 114 units or 46.9 percent of the total SPK.
Following that was the Mazda CX-3 with 46 units, and the Mazda 3 Hatchback was the choice for loyal customers with 27 units. The combined orders are estimated to contribute to transactions amounting to IDR 162.57 billion.
Interestingly, among all the orders, many consumers chose Mazda's iconic color, Soul Red Crystal Metallic, with 94 units. Then, another premium color, Machine Grey Metallic, was also in demand with 65 units.
“The growth in demand for premium vehicles in Indonesia reflects the maturing automotive market, with customers now prioritizing quality, technology, and design,” said Ricky Thio, Chief Operating Officer of PT EMI (Eurokars Motor Indonesia) in his official statement, quoted on Friday.
He emphasized that his party will continue to present vehicle options for consumers, including electrification and hybrid, offering sustainability as well as elegant design and capable performance.
“We are committed to being the top choice for those seeking vehicles with high functionality, comfort, and a classy lifestyle,” he affirmed.
For your information, Mazda was absent from IIMS 2024. This marks the return of PT EMI to the early-year automotive exhibition.
However, for comparison, at the GJAW 2024 event, Mazda secured 230 SPK. Meanwhile, at the larger event, GIIAS 2024, the number soared, reaching 833 SPK.
The newest model, the Mazda CX-80 PHEV, also attracted attention and won The Best Big SUV award from the IIMS 2025 organizers.
