KatadataOTO – Mazda CX-80 and CX-60 are present at the GJAW 2025 event as top-tier SUVs (Sport Utility Vehicles). Both vehicles offer luxurious form and function.

The CX-80 model appears as a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) SUV. The collaboration of an internal combustion engine and an electrification system makes it an efficient yet powerful vehicle.

The 2.5L engine is capable of producing 188 hp and 261 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the electric motor can deliver 172 hp and 270 Nm of torque.

A 17.8 kWh lithium-ion battery supplies power to the drive motor.

Power is then channeled through an 8-speed transmission without a torque converter, providing a balance between performance and fuel efficiency.

There are four driving modes: Normal, Sport, Offroad, and EV, making the journey more enjoyable.

Introduced as a premium model, the All-New Mazda CX-80 sets a new standard for SUVs from the Japanese brand.

Speaking of this car's design, it is inseparable from the Kodo philosophy. Every curve of the car's body is made smooth to represent luxury and comfort.

While SUVs generally showcase toughness, the CX-80 also emphasizes elegance.

The Mazda CX-60 is an SUV that also targets the premium market in the country. Besides offering an elegant appearance, this car is also capable of meeting performance needs.

It is offered in four different variants: Sport, Pro, Elite, and Kuro. The first two variants use a Skyactiv-G 2.5 inline four-cylinder DOHC 16-valve engine.

The vehicle's power source is capable of producing 185 hp at 6,000 rpm, while the peak torque is 250 hp at 3,000 rpm.

Then, the Elite and Kuro versions are equipped with an e-Skyactiv-G 3.3T inline six-cylinder DOHC 24-valve turbocharged engine.

The power output is 280 hp and the peak torque is 450 Nm. The engine's output is distributed to all four wheels, a.k.a. AWD (All Wheel Drive), with the i-Activ setup.

The Mazda CX-60 Sport is equipped with a Power Sliding Panoramic Sunroof and a Power Lift Gate with Hand-free Function.

Compared to its competitors in the same class, the Mazda CX-60 Sport is marketed at a more rational price.
