KatadataOTO – Unlike a number of vehicle manufacturers, Morris Garage or MG is more focused on presenting SUVs as its mainstay in Indonesia. Even though, so far, the Indonesian public has more often bought MPVs.

This step was taken because they predict that the demand for SUVs in the country is quite large and continues to grow. This is because these cars are sufficient to meet the driving needs of the community.

“The SUV segment continues to grow in the eyes of Indonesian consumers.  There are many reasons they like it, from its sturdy and spacious appearance, customers are also looking for fuel efficiency, reliable performance, to the latest driving technology,” said Jason Huang, CEO of MG Motor Indonesia.

According to him, these needs can already be met by their current lineup such as the MG ZS, HS, and VS HEV. Each has attractive advantages, making them ready to meet driving needs.

Moreover, some of these models are already available in electric vehicle variants, which will certainly attract the attention of customers in the country.

“We designed our SUV portfolio to not only look attractive but also be relevant to modern mobility needs, whether through conventional, hybrid, or electric engines,” added Jason (31/07).
