KatadataOTO – Mini Indonesia launched five new products from the John Cooper Works (JCW) family. Each comes with a different character and advantages, so they can be tailored to customer needs.

The five models are the Mini John Cooper Works, John Cooper Works E, John Cooper Works Cabrio, John Cooper Works Aceman, and John Cooper Works Countryman ALL4.

“Today, for the first time in Indonesia, we are launching five Mini John Cooper Work models. Of that number, two are electric vehicles while the rest are conventional cars,” Peter “Sunny” Medalla, President Director BMW Group Indonesia.

The electric cars they are presenting are the Mini John Cooper Works Electric and the John Cooper Works Aceman. Both have many similarities, including in performance, as they are equipped with an electric motor producing 258 hp and 350 Nm of torque.

Both models are equipped with an electric boost function to add 26.8 hp to the motor's power. The suspension has also been designed to maximize Mini's signature go-kart feel and ensure agile handling.

Despite having many similarities, the Mini John Cooper Works Electric can travel up to 371 km on a single charge. Meanwhile, the Aceman's range is slightly shorter at only 355 km.

The next products are the Mini John Cooper Works and the John Cooper Works Cabrio. Both are equipped with a 2,000 cc gasoline engine capable of producing 228 hp and 380 Nm of torque.

This performance is then channeled to the wheels through a dual-clutch transmission that has been adjusted to produce dynamic gear shifts.

In terms of appearance, the car is equipped with a black octagonal grille with wide air vents. The air inlets with red accents on the front apron emphasize the motorsport orientation, while the black rear diffuser with a central exhaust highlights the athletic character of both models.

Specifically for the Cabrio type, the roof can be opened, giving a much more luxurious impression.

All these models are equipped with a sporty interior that combines black and red colors. The cars also come equipped with an exclusive Harman Kardon audio system as standard.
