Mitsubishi Indonesia is reportedly getting increasingly ready to launch the production version of the DST Concept at GIIAS 2025.
KatadataOTO – PT Mitsubishi Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) is making another breakthrough. This is being done ahead of the opening of GIIAS 2025.
Recently, it has been widely rumored that MMKSI is preparing a 7-seater SUV. The unit is planned to be named the DST Concept.
There have been many rumors circulating about this prospective new Mitsubishi product. Until finally, MMKSI uploaded a black box with the words "Ready to Uncover Your Next Destination".
The post further confirms the arrival of the production version of the Mitsubishi DST Concept at GIIAS 2025.
This vehicle was previously exhibited at the Philippine Motor Show 2024.
“Something special is hidden in Mitsubishi's mystery box… Can you guess what #travel buddy is ready to accompany you to your dream destination?” wrote the Mitsubishi post on its Instagram account.
DST itself is known to be an acronym for Dynamic Spacious Three Row. This refers to the three-row seat cabin design.
The DST Concept features a T-shaped lamp design and the Dynamic Shield grille. Both are known to be Mitsubishi's signature features.
The DST's interior has a premium touch and is equipped with modern features. From the instrument panel, a full-screen head unit, to driving modes.
These features clearly provide driving comfort on every journey.
The appearance of several 'clues' from MMKSI through its social media accounts further confirms the arrival of the DST Concept at GIIAS 2025.
For your information, the annual automotive exhibition will be held from July 24 – August 4, 2025. As a result, it will be interesting to await the arrival of Mitsubishi's new prospective SUV.
“The Indonesian market has much greater potential for growth. This makes Indonesia one of the most important markets,” said Atsushi Kurita, President Director of PT MMKSI some time ago.
Three-row seat vehicles in Indonesia have quite a lot of fans. Take the Mitsubishi Xpander, for example, as one of the 7-seater MPV players that has gained millions of customers.
It's no different with their flagship SUV, the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. Sales of this SUV are also quite brilliant in the country.
Mitsubishi Indonesia's breakthrough at the GIIAS 2025 event is worth waiting for.
