KatadataOTO – PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB), the official distributor of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation in Indonesia, achieved positive results in 2024. Amid ongoing market challenges, they have maintained their position as the market leader in the commercial vehicle segment.
Throughout 2024, Mitsubishi Fuso successfully sold at least 27,683 units. That figure is equivalent to 38.1 percent of the total commercial vehicle market in Indonesia.
The Canter variant in the Light Duty Truck (LDT) class was the largest sales contributor. The model recorded sales of 25,219 units, equivalent to 53.1 percent of the total market.
Meanwhile, in the Medium Duty Truck (MDT) category, the Fighter X recorded a market share of 13.3 percent, or 2,436 units.
“We are proud to have maintained Mitsubishi Fuso as the market leader in 2024 amidst challenging market conditions. This certainly motivates us to be ready to go further in 2025,” said Aji Jaya, Sales & Marketing Director of PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors.
These high sales figures are inseparable from the company's well-thought-out strategy. Throughout the past year, they have provided various sales programs and held after-sales service activities, including expanding the dealer network.
With this, they now have 223 outlets to better reach consumers. They also increased the number of 24-Hour Standby Workshops to 19 locations, 5 Service Points, 21 Parts Depots, 135 Mobile Workshop Service fleets, and more than 7,000 Spare Parts outlets.
Not only that, digital innovations continue to be introduced with the launch of the Fuso Spare Parts Official store on several marketplaces. They also developed the MyFuso and Runner Telematics applications to make it easier for consumers to manage their business operations effectively.
In 2025, they affirm they will strive to maintain their position as the market leader.
“We have prepared various aggressive strategies and the latest line-up to penetrate the commercial vehicle market,” concluded Aji Jaya.
