KatadataOTO – Mitsubishi is one of the manufacturers presenting electric vehicles at the Japan Mobility Show 2025 automotive exhibition.

The exhibition will be held at Tokyo Big Sight, Japan. Mitsubishi will feature a lineup of adventure-concept vehicles.

While in 2023 they brought a Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) concept, this time their concept electric car is a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV).

The Mitsubishi MPV in 2023 adopted several characteristics from the Delica, but with a much more modern look typical of electric cars.

This time, Mitsubishi is still keeping the exterior design of their electric concept SUV for the Japan Mobility Show 2025 under wraps.

However, it is seen in the official statement from Mitsubishi Motors that the concept electric car has a quirky and elongated rear appearance with an illuminated emblem.

It is then combined with camping equipment, placed on the side, reinforcing the adventure feel as the SUV's function.

But the interior of the concept SUV is what Mitsubishi wants to highlight because it is suitable for luxurious glamping needs.

“Even on rough terrain, this car delivers strong performance and an enjoyable ride thanks to Mitsubishi Motors' electrification and all-wheel control technology,” the statement read, quoted on Wednesday (15/10).

It is worth noting because concept cars often have several design languages and technologies that are later adopted for mass-production models.

“This concept car is more than just a mode of transportation; it redefines the feel of adventure and the on-road experience,” the Mitsubishi statement continued.

Taking place from October 30, 2025, Mitsubishi has prepared a number of treats for visitors in addition to the concept electric SUV.

The Mitsubishi booth carries the theme 'Forever Adventure'. An interactive area will be available, offering visitors the sensation of driving their concept car.

Not to be missed is the lineup of Mitsubishi's flagship cars, including the New Delica Mini, New eK Space, Outlander PHEV, Delica D:5, and the Triton Rally Car.

The Mitsubishi Triton Rally Car presented is the winning car of the Asia Cross Country Rally 2025.
