Gofar Hilman's customized Seres E1 electric car made a stunning appearance at the IIMS 2025 exhibition.
KatadataOTO – DFSK and Seres are once again enlivening the IIMS 2025 event. This time, they are showcasing units that have received a touch of modification.
This can be a recommendation for consumers who want to or already own a unit. Through collaboration with various parties, the modified vehicles are stealing the spotlight.
Located in Hall B3 E2, JIExpo, Kemayoran, DFSK and Seres are carrying the tagline Innovate to Elevate. They also brought a concept electric car unit, a result of a collaboration with smartphone manufacturer Huawei, namely the Aito 7 and 9.
“This year we are not just exhibiting cars. But also various results of collaboration, creativity, and futuristic concepts,” said Alexander Barus, CEO of PT Sokonindo Automobile at the booth opening session (13/02).
The Seres E1 Electric Car, a creation of Gofar Hilman, comes with a different look from the factory version. Various touches have been added, giving it visual appeal for visitors.
The most noticeable change is the headlights, which have been replaced with round ones and fitted with a concave frame. This makes the vehicle look classic.
Then, a metal bar like a bull bar on an off-road car was added in front of the bumper. It was then fitted with Turbo Bastard rims complete with discs on the front.
“The windows were removed, these are the original left, right, and rear plates, and then the racks were made. The bumper is inspired by cars from the 70s,” said Gofar on the sidelines of the event.
It was mentioned that the entire modification process for the Seres E1 electric car took three weeks.
Entering the cabin, the interior is fitted with fabric material. This is quite a contrast to the E1's concept as a modern electric car.
Through the modifications above, it is shown that the Seres E1 can be modified according to the needs of each consumer.
The Seres E1 also collaborated with Scuto Indonesia. Two color options are offered that can be customized to the buyer's taste.
The Seres E1 Two Tone electric vehicle is priced starting from Rp 194 million OTR Jabodetabek. This figure is quite affordable for an urban EV (Electric Vehicle).
Also displayed was the DFSK Gelora Campervan designed by Delima Mandiri. It is suitable for customers who love to go on adventures.
