Neta guarantees that sales and after-sales services will continue to operate as usual following the closure of the Kelapa Gading outlet.
KatadataOTO – The first Neta dealership in Indonesia, located in Kelapa Gading, is reported to be closing starting April 2025.
This was discovered from the information listed for the Neta Kelapa Gading location on the Google Maps application. It states that the outlet is permanently closed.
According to a statement from Neta, the operational adjustment of the dealership is part of a strategic decision made based on comprehensive business considerations.
The decision to close the Kelapa Gading dealership was made by mutual agreement and continues to prioritize the interests and continuity of Neta's after-sales service.
“This business decision does not affect Neta Auto Indonesia's commitment to supporting the growth of the electrification vehicle industry in the country,” said Frietz Frederick, Brand PR and Digital Senior Manager of Neta Auto Indonesia when contacted by KatadataOTO, Thursday (24/04).
He emphasized that Neta will remain committed to providing the best products and services for all consumers and strengthening its national dealership network.
Furthermore, regarding warranties and other consumer rights such as ERA (Emergency Road Assistance) and Home Service, they can still be enjoyed by all Neta electric car owners.
However, customers who usually take their vehicles to Neta Kelapa Gading will now need to find alternative outlets in the Jakarta area.
In the North Jakarta area, the closest to Kelapa Gading is the Neta Pluit dealership.
“Customers can still continue all these services through any official Neta dealership,” Frietz affirmed.
For your information, the Neta Kelapa Gading dealership was the first outlet in the country for the manufacturer from China.
Neta offers two electric car models to consumers, which are locally assembled and receive tax subsidies from the government, namely the Neta V-II and Neta X.
Its facilities are complete and have 3S (Sales, Service, Sparepart) status, so consumers in the area could get their vehicles serviced at the Neta Kelapa Gading dealership.
Inaugurated on November 9, 2023, the dealership occupies a 1,620 m2 plot of land. Its showroom could accommodate four display cars, and there was a service area in the back.
With the closure of the Neta Kelapa Gading dealership, there are now 14 Neta dealerships remaining throughout Indonesia.
The available alternative is Neta Pluit, located in the Penjaringan district. Other consumers in the Jakarta area can also use the facilities in Puri or Tebet.
