Neta Confirms Its Business Will Continue to Operate in Indonesia This Year

KatadataOTO – Not all Chinese car manufacturers experienced a sales surge throughout 2025. Neta, which debuted in Indonesia in 2023, is actually facing challenges.

Last year, Neta's total retail sales for the January-December period were 406 units. In December, only two units were delivered to consumers.

Neta's highest sales were achieved in June with 58 units. But the numbers continued to decline drastically after that.

Despite rumors of ceasing vehicle sales, Neta has confirmed that their domestic business will continue as usual in 2026.

“We are still making sales. As for the number of Neta dealers, currently only the 2S ones are left,” said Irvan Mustafa, Head of Marketing at PT Neta Auto Indonesia to KatadataOTO recently.

This means Neta outlets can only provide spare parts for Neta-produced vehicles and sell new car units.

Looking at its official website, out of a total of 11 dealer networks, only one has a contact number available. That outlet is located in Tebet.

Neta was reluctant to confirm the current number of available dealers. However, it seems the number is dwindling.

“Currently, besides at the dealer (for Neta car service), it can also be done at the Otoklix network,” Irvan affirmed.

It should be noted that Neta has established a strategic collaboration with Otoklix to support after-sales services in several major cities.

Neta consumers can use Otoklix branches if they want to carry out vehicle repairs or periodic services such as replacing brake pads, coolant, and air filters.

For your information, according to its official website, Neta offers two models for Indonesian consumers: the Neta V-II and the Neta X.

Both are offered from Rp 299 million to Rp 428 million on the road in Jakarta. The Neta V-II is sold in Indonesia as Completely Knocked Down (CKD) or locally assembled.

Neta does not yet plan to introduce new products for the domestic market. In 2026, they will continue to sell the Neta V-II and Neta X.

Speaking of dealers, the only Neta outlet in the country now is Neta Arista Tebet, located at Jl. Dr. Saharjo No. 187, Manggarai Selatan, Tebet, South Jakarta.
