KatadataOTO – Amid bankruptcy issues and financial problems, Neta Indonesia ensures that sales of the brand in Indonesia will continue to run normally.

It should be noted, the parent company of the electric car Neta, namely Hozon New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd or Hozon New Energy, has been undergoing a restructuring process since June 12, 2025, in accordance with the Enterprise Bankruptcy Law of the People's Republic of China.

Rumors of Neta leaving the country have also been circulating. Especially after the closure of their first dealership located in Kelapa Gading.

In response to this, Neta Auto Indonesia has affirmed that the business operations of Neta's partners in various countries, including Indonesia, will continue as usual.

In more detail, several subsidiaries that are operating normally are Neta Auto Thailand and Brazil. Cooperation continues with Neta Auto Overseas to ensure everything proceeds in an orderly and lawful manner.

Furthermore, the restructuring subject that Hozon New Energy is currently undergoing does not include overseas subsidiaries and international cooperation activities under the Neta brand.

“Hozon New Energy is committed to maintaining the continuity of its basic international business operations,” read Neta's official statement, quoted on Monday (21/07).

As of June 30, 2025, Hozon New Energy has opened a public recruitment process for potential strategic investors, which will end on the upcoming July 30.

According to Neta, a number of potential investors have completed the registration process and are currently undergoing the initial selection stage.

Hozon New Energy is committed to drafting a new plan to restart production in the near future.

Regarding after-sales service and the availability of international spare parts, Hozon New Energy is said to be continuously collaborating with the Administrator to restore the operations of the spare parts center.

This electric car manufacturer from China affirms that it will maintain the sustainability of after-sales services and the availability of spare parts for international customers, including in Indonesia.

“Neta Auto and the Administrator of Hozon New Energy sincerely appreciate the understanding and support from overseas partners, customers, and friends from all sectors of society who are following Neta Auto's developments,” the statement concluded.
