The New BYD Seal 2025 receives an update, particularly in the suspension, making the ride more precise.
KatadataOTO – BYD has officially launched the New BYD Seal 2025 with various refreshments. The most highlighted change is the use of new suspension technology called the DiSus C Intelligent Body Control System (DiSus System).
The Chinese company asserts that with DiSus C technology, cabin vibrations can be suppressed even when driving on poor roads. Thus, it is hoped that passenger and driver comfort can be more optimal.
“We are always looking for ways to perfect mobility and are committed to bringing the latest technology to Indonesia. One of them is the DiSus System, which is the result of BYD's development to improve control capabilities and driving comfort,” said Eagle Zhao, President Director of BYD Motor Indonesia.
BYD acknowledges that the DiSus System has several categories. However, for the Seal, they have only installed the DiSus-C.
It should be noted that the DiSus-C suspension has a valve that automatically regulates the vehicle's sway according to road conditions. Thanks to this, the car can be more easily controlled, reducing vibrations and decreasing braking distance as well as body roll symptoms.
This technology is only installed on the BYD Seal Performance. Meanwhile, the lower type, the Premium, still utilizes frequency selective damping suspension technology.
Not only making changes to the suspension, BYD has also made several important developments. So that the public can truly feel the changes in the newest car.
The most striking development is the use of 19-inch wheels with a new design. BYD has also added red calipers to enhance the sporty impression of the model.
Inside the cabin, the new BYD Seal is now equipped with an Electric Panoramic Sunshade. The manufacturer has also added a Glasses Box on the upper right side of the driver's seat.
Although equipped with a new suspension, the performance of the BYD Seal has not changed. It still uses an 82.56 kWh capacity battery, sufficient for a journey of up to 650 km.
The electric motor used is also impressive, as it is capable of delivering 523 hp and 360 Nm of torque.
