News of Nissan X-Trail e-Power's Arrival Strengthens, Coming Soon

KatadataOTO – Nissan Motor Distributor Indonesia (NMDI) is preparing a new product. They intend to market a new car to consumers in the country.

One of the strongest candidates is the Nissan X-Trail e-Power. Because this four-wheeled vehicle was once shown to the media.

“This is an interesting one (Nissan X-Trail e-Power), we will provide information in the near future,” said Bima Aristantyo, Head of Sales and Product Planning at NMDI in Jakarta, on Tuesday (15/04).

Bima stated that this prospective new Nissan car has received a good reception. Especially from automotive enthusiasts.

Thus, the plan to launch the Nissan X-Trail e-Power in the country is just a matter of time.

“Overall, the enthusiasm is very positive, we will provide information about the next product launch calendar in the near future,” continued Bima.

On the other hand, signs of the Nissan X-Trail e-Power's presence in the domestic market had indeed been leaked before. This was mentioned by Caca Tobing, National Sales Head of PT NMDI.

“Just wait and see, since two years ago at GIIAS 2023 we displayed the Serena C28, and even though we hadn't opened pre-orders, what consumers asked about was the X-Trail (hybrid),” said Caca Tobing, National Sales Head of PT NMDI in December 2024.

Caca revealed that the e-Power hybrid technology is the right solution in the current era of electrification in the country.

Furthermore, the X-Trail is a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV), a type of vehicle that is quite popular, thus adding to the hybrid car options for Indonesian consumers.

As a reminder, the Nissan X-Trail e-Power carries a 1,497 cc mechanical heart combined with hybrid technology.
