KatadataOTO – Changan is one of the electric car brands rumored to be entering Indonesia this year.

Although the exact models are not yet known, a representative from the manufacturer previously stated that their focus is on affordable cars and commercial vehicles.

Some time ago, it was discovered that their pickup truck brand, the Changan Hunter, has been registered in the Intellectual Property Database (PDKI).

Then, based on KatadataOTO's search on Friday (22/08), the Motor Vehicle Sales Value (NJKB) for two Changan models has been listed on the Jakarta Samsat PKB website.

There is the Deepal S07 (4X2) AT with an NJKB range of Rp 580 million to Rp 611 million. Then there's the Lumin L DC (4X2) AT at Rp 194 million.

It should be noted that the NJKB is not a benchmark for the actual vehicle price, as it does not include other costs such as taxes.

It could even be sold for less than the NJKB, as was the case with the BYD Atto 1. The figures vary depending on the manufacturer's policy.

Deepal itself is a sub-brand of Changan. The models offered are either pure electric, also known as Electric Vehicle (EV), or hybrid.

It is possible that the Changan cars introduced in Indonesia will be purely electric.
