Neta asserts it is still operating normally in Indonesia, despite not having produced a single vehicle since the beginning of the year.

KatadataOTO – Since January 2025, Neta Auto Indonesia has not yet produced a single vehicle unit. However, based on Gaikindo data, the Chinese manufacturer is still quite active in selling its cars.
However, it cannot be denied that their sales figures are not large. In April 2025, their retail sales only reached 50 units.
This figure has even grown compared to the previous month, which was just 57 units. The total number of cars delivered to customers in the first four months was 205 units.
Meanwhile, its wholesales in April 2025 were 52 units, a slight decrease from the previous month's 55 units. The total number of cars successfully shipped from the factory to dealers is 250 units.
Nevertheless, they assert that the company's condition is still healthy and that they are serious about working on the Indonesian market. The company points to the normal operation of its dealerships as proof.
“NETA in Indonesia continues to operate normally to this day, with guaranteed service and after-sales,” said Zhu Wenbin, Managing Director of PT Neta Auto Indonesia in an official statement (15/05).
Currently, Neta is supported by a network of 10 3S (Sales, Service, Spare Part) dealerships spread across various cities, all of which continue to operate normally. These range from Tebet, Pos Pengumben, Pluit, Bekasi, Bandung, Medan, Pekanbaru, Sukabumi, Makassar to Manado.
This number is also claimed to be increasing with additions in several important cities such as Semarang, Solo, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Bali, Lombok, as well as several areas in Kalimantan. There is even a dealership scheduled to hold its grand opening in the near future.
“We are also continuing to carry out our expansion plans by adding new dealership networks in various cities in Indonesia. This also affirms Neta's existence and seriousness in building a long-term presence in the Indonesian automotive market,” Zhu Wenbin then added.
He also added that Neta still sees potential for electric cars in the country and wants to stay.
“Therefore, we will continue to invest and develop our business in Indonesia by adding a network that expands to many regions,” he concluded.
