October 2025 Hybrid Car Wholesales, Toyota and Suzuki in the Top 3

KatadataOTO – Wholesales of hybrid cars as of October 2025, based on Gaikindo data, were recorded at 5,556 units. The model with the largest contribution is still the Toyota Kijang Innova Zenix with 2,209 units.

For the record, these hybrid car wholesales represent shipments from the factory to the dealer, not retail sales or delivery from the dealer to the consumer.

After the Kijang Innova Zenix, there is the Suzuki XL7 Hybrid with 710 units. This number is up 13.2 percent from the September 2025 data of 627 units.

Their newest model, the Suzuki Fronx Hybrid, was distributed to dealers with 627 units. In fourth place for hybrid car wholesales is the Honda HR-V e:HEV with 509 units, down 59.3 percent from the September 2025 figure of 1,251 units.

Overall, Toyota products accounted for the most hybrid car wholesales in October 2025. Their premium Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) was shipped with 98 units, while the Vellfire had 19 units.

New products from Chery also contributed. Throughout October 2025, wholesales of the Chery Tiggo Cross CHS Hybrid were 388 units.

Then, one of their flagship models and the backbone of their sales, the Chery Tiggo 8 CSH, was delivered with 269 units, followed by the Tiggo 9 CSH with 96 units.

It is still a point of interest that until now, the Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid has not contributed to wholesales at all. There is a possibility that PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) is preparing a new variant.
