The recently launched Polytron G3 electric car has interesting specifications to challenge other EVs.
KatadataOTO – The Polytron G3 and G3+ electric cars are finally officially marketed in Indonesia. This SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) type vehicle challenges previous EVs such as the Geely EX5, Omoda E5, and AION V.
The specifications of the Polytron G3 and G3+ are quite interesting as they are accompanied by the latest features. In addition, the price offered is quite competitive.
Speaking of EVs (Electric Vehicles), the Polytron G3 is equipped with a 51.916 kWh LFP battery. This power storage is claimed to be able to produce a power of 150 kW or around 201 hp and a peak torque of 320 Nm.
The amount of power produced, as written above, is then channeled to the two front wheels. This means the car is front-wheel drive.
The driving range also influences potential consumers in making their choice. The Polytron G3 and G3+ can travel a distance of 402 km on a full battery.
Meanwhile, recharging using the fast charging system from 20 – 70 percent can be achieved in under 35 minutes.
When relying on the AC charging system, the G3 version requires under 5 hours. For the G3+ variant, it takes less than 3 hours.
To accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h, it only takes 9.6 seconds. The claimed maximum vehicle speed is 150 km/h.
The Polytron G3 and G3+ have dimensions of 4,720 mm in length, 1,908 mm in width, and 1,696 mm in height. The vehicle's wheelbase reaches 2,800 mm.
The large 5-seater SUV is supported by a Macpherson independent suspension at the front. Then, the rear relies on a Multilink independent suspension.
