KatadataOTO – Seres 3 was officially launched at the Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) 2025. The car is here to provide more vehicle choices to the public, especially in the SUV segment.
Since its presence in Indonesia, Seres has continued to offer a variety of electric vehicles in the country. The presence of this latest model is expected to strengthen its position as one of the automotive brands in Indonesia.
“We are happy to participate in the PEVS 2025 exhibition. Because this event solidifies Seres' position as an automotive brand that effectively meets various market segments,” said Alexander Barus, CEO of PT Sokonindo Automobile.
He also revealed that the Seres 3 has been designed to attract customers in urban areas. This is proven by its dynamic design and fairly high performance.
"We understand the desires of urban communities and modern professionals who are looking for an electric vehicle to complement their dynamic lifestyles,” explained Alexander Barus.
In terms of appearance, the Seres 3 comes with an aggressive design. The manufacturer has etched several aerodynamic lines, making the car feel dynamic.
A sporty impression is still felt inside the cabin thanks to the use of black color wrapping the seats. Not only that, the manufacturer has also installed a 10.25-inch touchscreen head unit to indulge the driver.
The Seres 3 is equipped with a 54 kWh capacity battery, enough to travel a distance of 412 km on a full charge. This power is then channeled to drive an electric motor with 201 hp and 310 Nm of torque.
Thanks to this, the car can accelerate to 100 km per hour in 8.5 seconds from a standstill. Meanwhile, its maximum speed is 165 km per hour.
To make charging easier for customers, the Seres 3 is equipped with a fast-charging feature. Charging from 20 percent to 80 percent can be achieved in 40 minutes.
To make it easier for the driver to control the vehicle, several modern features have been installed. Starting from auto-hold, cruise control, hill start assist to brake assist.
With all its advantages, the manufacturer is offering the car starting from Rp 370 million to 398 million. Interestingly, during PEVS 2025, customers only need to pay a booking fee of Rp 1 million.
