KatadataOTO – Seres E1 is getting a promo in the form of a discount of up to IDR 50 million at the Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) 2025. This offer is expected to encourage customers to purchase a unit during the exhibition.

This is because the vehicle's price will become even cheaper, even below IDR 170 million. However, there are several requirements to get this program.

“This discount is only valid for the Seres E1 NIK 2024 and the purchase must be made during the exhibition,” said one of the salespeople to KatadataOTO (02/05).

However, since it is a 2024 unit, customers will not have to wait long to get it. The car will be delivered to their home immediately after the transaction is completed.

“The color options can also still be adjusted according to your wishes,” he then emphasized.

It should be noted that the Seres E1 made its debut in Indonesia at the PEVS 2023 event. At that time, the car immediately became the center of attention due to its rather cute design.

Nevertheless, its appearance is quite pleasing to the eye, especially since it already uses projector headlights complete with DRL (Daytime Running Light).

Seres has equipped it with a 16.8 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate battery, which is sufficient to travel up to 220 km on a single charge.

As for the powertrain, the Seres E1 carries an electric motor with power up to 40.2 hp and 100 Nm of torque.
Various safety features have also been installed to protect the driver and passengers. Starting from ABS (Anti-lock braking system), EBD (electronic brake distribution), BA (Brake Assist), Hill Hold Control to a parking camera.

Electronic Stability Control and Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold are also available for the Seres E1 Type L.

Despite having many advantages, sales of the Seres E1 are apparently still full of challenges. From its initial launch until March 2025, they have only been able to sell around 300 units, mostly purchased by consumers in the Greater Jakarta area.

“91 percent of EV sales are still in Jakarta. Outside [of Jakarta], it's still small due to a lack of infrastructure and other factors,” said Cing Hok Rifin, Director Sales Center of PT Sokonindo Automobile, some time ago.
