KatadataOTO – At the Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) 2025, Seres Indonesia is providing various conveniences for people who want to purchase electric vehicles. This step is taken as part of the strategy to encourage the use of EVs in the country.
One of the highlights at the PEVS 2025 event is the "Zero Emission Fund" campaign. They are offering consumers a subsidy of IDR 51 million for the purchase of the DFSK Gelora E and SERES E1 models by trading in a gasoline-powered car.
“This program can make it easier for people to get a unit that suits their individual needs,” said Doni Putra Okten, Head of Sales & Marketing at PT Sokonindo Automobile (01/05).
Not only that, PT Sokonindo Automobile is also offering various conveniences to customers for every vehicle purchase at PEVS 2025. Among them is the chance to win a lucky dip with a total value of hundreds of millions of rupiah.
The prizes that can be won include a Huawei Matepad 12x, Huawei GT5 Series, shopping vouchers, and PLN vouchers. Customers are also entitled to a Wall Charger installation for the purchase of a DFSK Gelora E and Seres E1.
To give people peace of mind during their ownership period, PT Sokonindo Automobile also provides after-sales services. Seres E1 customers will be given an 8-year or 120,000 km warranty for the battery, a 3-year or 100,000 km vehicle warranty, and free maintenance for 3 years or 100,000 km.
Meanwhile, for every purchase of a DFSK Gelora E, customers will receive a 3-year or 120,000 km vehicle warranty, and a 5-year or 200,000 km warranty for the battery and EV electrical system.
“This warranty is attached to the car, so customers who buy a used unit can still get this guarantee,” added Doni.
PT Sokonindo Automobile is trying to show the public that electric cars can support businesses. Therefore, they are partnering with Helmy Yahya to actively promote the benefits of transitioning to EVs.
In his presentation, he revealed that the operational costs of electric vehicles are considered lower, making them profitable for businesses.
“Moreover, electric cars now do not require much maintenance and come with a battery warranty. So their quality is more guaranteed,” stressed Helmi Yahya.
