Specifications of the Chery Tiggo 8 CSH Launching This Year

KatadataOTO – PT CSI (Chery Sales Indonesia) is ready to launch their first hybrid car for domestic consumers, namely Chery Tiggo 8 CSH (Chery Super Hybrid).

Not a conventional hybrid, the Chery Tiggo 8 CSH is equipped with PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) technology. The vehicle can be filled with gasoline but also charged like an electric car.

Thus, the Tiggo 8 CSH is claimed to have an extended range, where the car can continue to run without gasoline for up to 90 km on a fully charged battery.

“If you want a vehicle with low emissions and low gasoline consumption, a driving sensation like an electric car, responsive, and quiet, this is the car (Chery Tiggo 8 CSH),” said Zeng Shuo, Country Director of PT CSI in North Jakarta some time ago.

In terms of design, the Chery Tiggo 8 CSH has a character similar to its predecessor which still uses a gasoline or ICE (Internal Combustion Engine).

One of the differentiators is the presence of an additional socket for charging on the rear right side of the car. Meanwhile, on the left side is the fuel tank.

The design is elegant with not many ornaments on the exterior. The grille is distinctively Chery with a silver color, matching the accents on the roof rail and window frames.

Entering the cabin, the interior feels luxurious and neat. Like many recent Chinese cars, many feature control buttons have been moved to the head unit.
