KatadataOTO – Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) does not want to be left behind in marketing new products. Recently, they intend to sell the Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid.

The Daihatsu hybrid car is rumored to be officially on sale at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025.

“The units are completely Completely Built Up (CBU) from Japan,” a salesperson revealed to KatadataOTO some time ago.

According to him, the Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid brought to the country will be available in three color options: white, black, and blue.

Judging from the salesperson's statement, the specifications of the Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid to be sold will likely be the same as the one exhibited at GIIAS 2024.

In terms of appearance, it is not much different from the conventional Daihatsu Rocky. It still relies on a sporty design.

There is an LED lighting system at the front. It helps the owner when driving at night.

As for the mechanical heart, the Daihatsu Rocky relies on a 1,200 cc three-cylinder engine with the code WA-VEX. The powertrain is claimed to be able to produce up to 80 hp at 5,600 rpm.

Then there is an electric motor with a power of 78 kW or 104.6 hp and a torque of 170 Nm. It is then paired with a 4.3 Ah capacity Lithium-Ion battery.

Daihatsu claims that the Rocky Hybrid has quite efficient fuel consumption. One liter of gasoline can cover a distance of up to 28 kilometers.

So it is very suitable to be relied upon for various activities. Such as urban mobility to long-distance travel.

To provide a sense of security during the journey, the Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid is equipped with various safety features.

For example, Smart Assist with 19 different functions. Such as warnings and braking for potential collisions that support night mode.

Then there is pedestrian and traffic sign detection to provide ‘Maximum Speed’ and ‘Stop’ warnings.

Not to be missed is the electric parking brake, accompanied by Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) which can make long-distance driving more comfortable.

Furthermore, there is also the Cornering Trace Assist (CTA) feature, which functions to stabilize the vehicle during maneuvers. Making it more comfortable to drive on the highway.
