Suzuki Fronx Hybrid Price Range, Top Trim Around Rp 300 Million

KatadataOTO – PT SIS (Suzuki Indomobil Sales) will soon launch its newest model for the Indonesian market, the Suzuki Fronx.

Several types are offered to consumers. Variants range from a gasoline engine with a manual transmission to the highest type equipped with hybrid technology.

Suzuki has started showcasing the unit to consumers, including at Mall Kelapa Gading. 

According to a Suzuki salesperson, there is no official price that can be disclosed to consumers yet. However, for those interested, the price range is around Rp 300 million.

“The highest SGX type is estimated to be no more than Rp 330 million. The booking fee is just Rp 5 million,” said the salesperson when met by KatadataOTO on Sunday (18/05).

The salesperson revealed that a new color is available as an option for consumers, namely Ice Grayish Blue with a two-tone option. However, it is only available on the highest SGX variant.

He also confirmed that the Suzuki Fronx will be officially launched and its price revealed on May 28, 2025.

“Types other than the SGX will be sold for under Rp 300 million,” the salesperson emphasized.

For your information, Suzuki has shared information regarding the technical specifications of their newest car.

Two engine options are available, the first is coded K15C with a capacity of 1,462 cc four-cylinder and can produce 99.2 hp, as well as a peak torque of 135 Nm.

Its fuel efficiency is assisted by the inclusion of mild hybrid technology, consisting of an Integrated Starter Generator and a lithium-ion battery.

Variants below the SGX use the K15B engine, the same one currently used by the Ertiga, XL7, and Jimny.

Although it has the same capacity as the K15C, it produces more power at 103 hp. Meanwhile, the peak torque produced is 138 Nm.

The SGX type is only available with an automatic transmission (AT) option. Meanwhile, the GX and GL provide a five-speed manual transmission option.

In other countries like India, the Suzuki Fronx's engine capacity is smaller, either 1,000 cc turbo or 1,200 cc.

Adjustments were made for the Indonesian market so that the vehicle's acceleration can be maximized, adapting to the road and traffic conditions in Indonesia.
