Suzuki Fronx is available for order, units will be delivered after GIIAS 2025.

KatadataOTO – PT SIS (Suzuki Indomobil Sales) will soon introduce a new product for domestic consumers, an SUV (sport utility vehicle) called the Fronx.

The Suzuki Fronx will complete PT SIS's HEV (hybrid electric vehicle) lineup in Indonesia, which currently includes the Ertiga Cruise, XL7, and Grand Vitara.

A car frame, strongly suspected to be the Fronx, was also displayed by Suzuki at the IIMS (Indonesia International Motor Show) 2025 event.

Recently, the Japanese manufacturer with the 'S' logo once again teased the silhouette of their latest product.

Judging by the taillight design, the silhouette is identical to the Fronx. Therefore, there is a high chance that this model will be available to Indonesian consumers in the near future.

According to a Suzuki salesperson, the new model can already be pre-ordered with a price range of Rp 250 million to Rp 300 million.

Additionally, both hybrid and non-hybrid variants are available to choose from according to consumer needs.

“The Fronx can be pre-ordered now, units will be in stock after GIIAS (Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show),” said a Suzuki salesperson when contacted by KatadataOTO on Tuesday (08/04).

According to him, the price of the Suzuki Fronx will not be too different from the Grand Vitara that is currently on the market.

For comparison, here is the list of Suzuki Grand Vitara on-the-road prices in Jakarta as of April 2025.

• Grand Vitara GL, Rp 364.9 million
• Grand Vitara GX, Rp 399.3 million
• Grand Vitara GX Two Tone, Rp 402.3 million

If consumers are interested, the salesperson revealed there is a booking fee promo, requiring a payment of Rp 3 million.

For your information, the Suzuki Fronx Hybrid in the global market uses a 1,500 cc Dualjet engine with SHVS Mild Hybrid technology.

The embedded battery is a 12-volt lithium-ion. Meanwhile, other variants are available with a 1,000 cc Turbo or a 1,200 cc K-Series Dualjet engine.

The dimensions (L x W x H) of the Suzuki Fronx are 3,995 mm x 1,765 mm x 1,550 mm, while its wheelbase is 2,520 mm.

The Suzuki Fronx has a two-row, 5-seater configuration. Its trunk is quite spacious with a volume of 308 liters, and its fuel tank capacity is 37 liters.

In the Japanese market, consumers are offered two drivetrain options: FWD (Front Wheel Drive) and AWD (All Wheel Drive).
