Suzuki XL7 Kuro Leaked Price, Starting from Around IDR 300 Million

KatadataOTO – PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) is ready to launch its new car in the near future. Recently, Suzuki provided a teaser of the new product through its official social media page.

A silhouette of the XL7's taillights framed by an all-black exterior is visible. The unit turns out to be the Suzuki XL7 Kuro.

According to a salesperson, this car is based on the highest XL7 Hybrid variant, the Alpha AT Two Tone.

Therefore, there will be no changes to its features or interior. However, the exterior will feature a special emblem to differentiate it and may get an additional body kit.

“There is a price difference and it's for the special black color,” said a Suzuki salesperson when contacted by KatadataOTO on Wednesday (03/09).

According to information on the official Suzuki website, the price of the Suzuki XL7 Alpha variant is between IDR 296.2 million and IDR 309.2 million.

He revealed there is a price increase of around IDR 4 million for the XL7 Kuro. So, the estimated on-the-road price at launch will be IDR 313 million and above.

However, it is not yet known if the unit will be sold in limited quantities. Usually, manufacturers prepare special editions with limited stock.

He also did not specify whether the Suzuki XL7 Kuro will be available in manual and automatic transmission options like the previous model.

If customers are interested, orders can now be placed at the nearest Suzuki dealer by preparing a booking fee.

“The booking fee is just IDR 5 million. A Vehicle Order Letter (SPK) can be issued immediately,” the salesperson affirmed.
