KatadataOTO – At the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025, each manufacturer strives to attract visitors' attention. This includes VinFast, which launched its newest electric SUV, the VF 7.
The fifth model in VinFast's vehicle lineup in the country comes with advantages for customers. All adjustments have been made to suit the community's mobility needs.
In its development, the car carries the "Asymmetric Aerospace" design language created by the Italian design studio, Torino Design. It's not surprising that its appearance is strikingly attractive.
The car has dimensions of 4,545 mm in length, a 2,840 mm wheelbase, 1,890 mm in width, 1,635.75 mm in height, and a ground clearance of 190 mm. Thanks to this, the VF 7 is comfortable for navigating through heavy traffic.
The interior design is driver-focused, featuring a 12.9-inch touchscreen, a head-up display (HUD), a two-tone D-cut steering wheel, and piano key-style gear selector buttons.
The VF 7's cabin is also designed to provide comfort and a spacious feel for its users. For comfort, the manufacturer has upholstered the seats with premium leather.
The VF 7 comes in two variants, distinguished by battery capacity and performance. Therefore, customers can easily adjust it to their needs.
First is the VF 7 Plus, which is supported by a 70.8 kWh capacity battery. Thanks to this, the car can travel up to 471 km on a single full charge (based on the NEDC standard).
The car is also equipped with two electric motors that produce a total maximum power of 260 kW or 349 hp. Meanwhile, its torque is 500 Nm.
Meanwhile, the VF 7 Eco is equipped with a single electric motor that produces a maximum power of 130 kW or 174 hp and a peak torque of 250 Nm. Paired with a 59.6 kWh capacity battery, the VF 7 Eco can travel up to 430 km on a single full charge (based on the NEDC standard).
