The Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid will be delivered to customers in November 2025.

KatadataOTO – The Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid is a newcomer at GIIAS 2025. The environmentally friendly car is a Completely Built Up (CBU) unit from Japan.

Visitors at GIIAS 2025 can already place orders for Daihatsu's new hybrid car.

However, delivery of the Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid cannot be done in the near future.

"Units will be available in November 2025," said Sri Agung, Director and Corporate Planning & Communication Director of Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) at ICE BSD, Tangerang some time ago.

Agung did not specify why their new four-wheeled vehicle will be delivered towards the end of the year.

He only explained that Daihatsu is continuously working to deliver the Rocky Hybrid as soon as possible.

"We are fulfilling our obligations to the government to meet import quotas and other requirements," Agung continued.

On the other hand, Agung hopes the Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid will be well-received by consumers.

Considering the Japanese manufacturer has conducted research before marketing the Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid in the country.

"We believe there are urban consumers and loyal Daihatsu buyers for those who want to step up," Agung affirmed.

For your information, the Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid comes with an appearance that is not much different from the standard version.

Daihatsu only added a honeycomb grille and the e-Smart Hybrid logo as differentiators.

It is worth noting that the Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid's powertrain relies on a 1,200 cc gasoline engine with the code WA-VEX, integrated with a 0.76 kWh capacity battery.

This power is then channeled to an electric motor capable of delivering a maximum power of 104 hp and a maximum torque of 170 Nm.

Thanks to this, the car can accelerate to 100 km per hour in just 10 seconds from a standstill.

Finally, there are many modern features in this hybrid car, starting with the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
