KatadataOTO – Xpeng has released images of its newest model, the P7. The product will enter the sedan segment with an attractive and sporty appearance.
The car, designed by Rafik Ferrag, is claimed to be inspired by the Lamborghini Revuelto and Honda S7. Its front is adorned with thin daytime running lights (DRL), giving it a sharp feel.
Its appearance is made more aggressive with the presence of a rear spoiler, making it more dynamic. This design leads Xpeng to call the model a 'bold, emotional, and athletic 5-passenger coupe.
This model also marks the debut of the Kunpeng EV platform and is claimed to be usable for vehicles with a longer range. The Xpeng P7 is also expected to be launched exclusively for EVs.
Although there is no official information regarding its performance, the Xpeng P7 is rumored to offer a similar or even better range than the current P7+. This means the power output will be at least around 466 hp with a range of 700 km.
According to Carscoops, the company has not shown the interior at all. However, it is expected that a large screen will be a key feature.
Additionally, the Xpeng P7 is expected to be equipped with LiDAR technology, making it easier for the driver to control the vehicle.
Meanwhile in Indonesia, sedans are not an attractive segment for vehicle manufacturers. Xpeng has even confirmed that it will focus on developing Premium MPVs and SUVs.
The Xpeng X9 is confirmed to be a flagship model. The car is claimed to have various interesting advantages and is believed to be able to attract customers.
In terms of dimensions, the Xpeng X9 has no changes, with a length of 5,293 mm, width of 1,988 mm, height of 1,785 mm, and a wheelbase of 3,160 mm. Despite its large size, they claim the car remains aerodynamic.
Meanwhile, the Xpeng G6 comes with dimensions of 4,753 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1,650 mm in height. On paper, the Xpeng G6 can produce 282 hp and 440 Nm of torque.
The car will be equipped with an 87.5 kWh NMC battery, capable of traveling up to 570 km on a single charge.
