KatadataOTO – The price of the electric car Aion V has finally been released at the IIMS 2025 (Indonesia International Motor Show) automotive exhibition. Two variants are offered to consumers: Exclusive and Luxury.

It should be noted that the pre-booking price for the Aion V was around IDR 499 million. However, it is now lower, ranging from IDR 449 million to IDR 489 million on the road in Jakarta.

“Like other Aion units, the Aion V is equipped with a lifetime warranty (for the battery) and an eight-year or 160,000-kilometer vehicle warranty. We also provide a free wall charger to all Aion V buyers,” said Andry Ciu, CEO of Aion Indonesia at JIExpo Kemayoran, Thursday (13/2).

For interested consumers, this car is available for a direct test drive at the IIMS 2025 exhibition. Then, to convince consumers to purchase the Aion V, Andry emphasized that his party will develop dealership facilities in various locations.

“We are continuously developing our dealer network to have 40 outlets throughout Indonesia,” Andry affirmed.

For your information, the Aion V was first introduced at the GJAW 2024 (Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week) event, filling the SUV segment with an elegant appearance.

The Aion V is equipped with a 72.3 kWh capacity battery. When fully charged, the manufacturer claims the car can travel up to 600 km on a single charge.

“This means the car can be driven from Jakarta to Yogyakarta without needing to recharge midway,” he said on a different occasion.

Furthermore, the Aion V will be the first model to be locally assembled at their facility in Cikampek. Thus, it will meet the requirements to obtain electric car incentives.

Currently, GAC Aion has several electric car models in the Indonesian market, all of which are in the SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) segment, which is popular with consumers.

This is evident from the high consumer enthusiasm, especially at the GJAW 2024 event. The manufacturer from China managed to secure 847 SPK (Vehicle Order Letters).

That figure even surpassed the initial target and is said to be an encouragement for Aion Indonesia to continue introducing more environmentally friendly vehicle products.

The Aion V contributed the most with 379 orders. This was followed by the Hyptec HT with 335 orders and the Aion Y Plus with 133 units.
