KatadataOTO – The use of AI (Artificial Intelligence) in developing modern cars continues to grow. Equipped with this technology, drivers will be better assisted on every journey.

One of the manufacturers helping to popularize AI is GAC Group. Their various new breakthroughs were showcased at the Auto Shanghai 2025 event.

GAC introduced an ecosystem called X-Soul AI Panorama. The innovation developed covers four aspects of human life.

The first is SKY, which is a flying car named Govy AirCar and AirJet. The flying vehicle is currently undergoing the air certification process.

Using AI, this unit is said to be able to detect small objects up to 10x5 cm from a distance of 100 meters.

Then there is also GoMate, a third-generation humanoid robot. In the future, this robot will assist humans in driving, powered by AI.

Then there is Golife, a vehicle directly connected to the home ecosystem. This system will connect with more than 4,000 devices and 1,000 brands.

Thus, the integration of home and vehicle will become more seamless.

Meanwhile, Vehicle is being developed not just as a means of transportation. Using level 3 and 4 autonomous technology, the car's capabilities are continuously being enhanced.

“Artificial intelligence technology has opened a new chapter in the automotive world. Through X-Soul AI Panorama, we want to build a smart, humanistic, connected mobility ecosystem without sacrificing safety,” said Feng Xingya, Chairman & General Manager of GAC Group in a press release quoted on (03/05).

One of the vehicles GAC also took pride in at the Auto Shanghai 2025 event is the DiDi Autonomous Driving. Equipped with 33 sensors and a central computing power of 2,000 TOPS, the car can identify traffic situations in real-time.

The autonomous car, which looks like the AION V, is scheduled to enter the production line this year. Then, public trials will be conducted in stages next year.

There is also the GAC Hyptec Earth concept model with an aristocratic and elegant Design DNA. This is visible from the unique headlights, which are said to be inspired by lava flowing into the sea.

Another one is the GAC Pick Up 01; this concept vehicle features an all-boxy design. The futuristic look combined with a dual-cockpit interior is said to be the answer to the needs of modern consumers.
