Tuss, Solution to Boost Car Engine Performance and Efficiency

KatadataOTO – There are many ways to improve a car's engine performance. One of them is by using the TUSS (Semi-sport Tune Up) method.

This innovation was discovered thanks to a collaboration between two workshops, namely Provisautolab and Rocket Plus Tuning.

“Our collaboration can produce extraordinary synergy. We focus on improving combustion efficiency,” said Sarah, Marketing Manager of Provisautolab Bintaro in an official statement.

Sarah explained that TUSS plays a role in mechanically increasing efficiency. Meanwhile, Rocket Plus Tuning accommodates the TUSS formula.

Thus, combustion efficiency increases significantly. It can also make a car that usually uses RON 98 fuel (BBM - Bahan Bakar Minyak) switch to RON 90 after the TUSS application.

It is even claimed to have no knocking symptoms while still being able to maintain acceleration. It also significantly reduces turbo lag.

“This proves that the engine's potential can be achieved with safe parameters through the combination of TUSS and an ECU remap from Rocket Plus,” she continued.

On the other hand, their collaboration on diesel-engined cars can improve performance without producing excessive smoke.

It can also save fuel when in use. If that's not enough, it can be supplemented with the addition of a piggyback or a turbo replacement.

She also revealed that their work has been proven in drag racing events. The Honda Jazz and Brio they worked on have managed to win various podiums.

Specifically, the Honda Jazz has a best time of 9.8 seconds for 201 meters. While the 402-meter run reached just 15.5 seconds.

Meanwhile, the power produced is at 154.8 hp and a peak torque of 176 Nm when tested on the DynoDastek.

Then for the Honda Brio with an L15 N/A engine. It recorded a best time of 9.6 seconds for 201 meters and 15.0 seconds for 402 meters.

While the power output is claimed to be 182.4 hp. And the torque produced is 200 Nm on the DynoDastek.

Previously, the TUSS method was also applied to a diesel Toyota Innova Reborn. It was said there was a significant improvement, especially when tackling inclines.

“The results are extraordinary, the power and torque have increased. I also did a low smoke remap, which is done to set the exhaust gas smoke to be less,” said Chelsi, the owner of the diesel Toyota Innova Reborn.
