KatadataOTO – Although the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025 is almost over, new cars are still being launched. The model is the Volkswagen ID Buzz Long Wheelbase, which was introduced to answer the challenges of the electric vehicle market in the country.

The Volkswagen ID Buzz Long Wheelbase is expected to be an alternative choice for customers who want an electric car with a more spacious cabin.

“More than just a vehicle, the Volkswagen ID Buzz Long Wheelbase celebrates the past into the modern era without leaving its distinctive features,” said Ahmad Badawi, Head of Sales & Marketing at PT Garuda Mataram Motor.

The Volkswagen ID Buzz LWB uses a Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) system and has been equipped with various interesting advantages. One of them is its longer dimension of 4,962 mm and a wheelbase of 3,239 mm.

Several features have also been installed to give the car a premium feel. Starting from the Panoramic Sunroof with Smart Glass, 3-zone Climatronic equipped with a Clean Air Particle Filter, to a 12.9-inch infotainment screen supported by an advanced connectivity system and 12+1 Harman Kardon speakers.

This car is equipped with an 86 kWh capacity battery, which is sufficient to travel a distance of 487 km. This power is used to operate an electric motor with 281 hp and 560 Nm of torque.
