Wuling Announces Mitra EV Modification Winners at GIIAS 2025

KatadataOTO – The car modification contest titled Move Your Hustle, organized by Wuling, has officially ended. The competition involved the newest electric car, the Mitra EV.

The commercial vehicle was modified according to the needs of several modifiers and business owners, as a platform to pour out innovative ideas and realize business development strategies with Wuling.

In total, 150 participants were involved in the event. The competition was opened nationally from May 1 to June 30, 2025.

The participants were business owners from various fields such as the food or beverage industry, creative services, and logistics.

All were required to follow the criteria set by Wuling. For example, they had to be a legal business, whether a PT, CV, or NIB, with a minimum operational period of one year.

“Through this competition, we hope that business owners can find new mobility solutions that are efficient, environmentally friendly, and relevant to their operational needs,” said Yan Ferdiendo Xaturangga, Acquisition Center Manager of Wuling Motors in Tangerang, Thursday (31/07).

From the 150 participants, 10 finalists were selected to enter the final stage, which was to present their proposals directly to the judges.

The panel of judges involved were Danang Wiratmoko (Product and Communication Manager of Wuling Motors), Anthony Leong (Head of the SOE Division of BPP HIPMI), and Ridwan Hanif as an automotive public figure.

Five aspects were the main focus of the judges' assessment, including innovation & creativity, relevance, feasibility, sustainability, and visual concept.

“Not only the creativity in utilizing the Mitra EV, but also how the business is solution-oriented, measurable in terms of the target market, and has a measurable business plan to enable growth,” said Anthony Leong, Head of the SOE Division of BPP HIPMI, on the same occasion.

The main winner of the competition, Duitin, was entitled to a cash prize of Rp 100 million.

Then, in second place was Foodganic with Rp 30 million, and in third place, Pedalworks was awarded an appreciation prize of Rp 20 million.

Two other positions received honorable mentions, namely Sewaksurid as The Most Unique Business, and Dari ABK untuk Negeri Daun which won the title of The Most Inspiring Business. Each received a cash prize of Rp 5 million.

“We believe that with the support of the Mitra EV, business owners can experience benefits such as being more efficient, flexible, and having a positive impact on the economy,” said Danang Wiratmoko, Product and Communication Manager of Wuling Motors.
