KatadataOTO – Wuling BinguoEV officially receives various upgrades to strengthen its position in Indonesia. All changes are made to ensure the car can optimally meet customer needs.

Not just in appearance, Wuling has made developments to improve its functionality according to market needs, so it is hoped that car sales can be more optimal in the future.

“Wuling BinguoEV has successfully met the needs of customers in Indonesia. We have also made refreshments by considering feedback from consumers,” said Ricky Christian, Marketing Operation Director of Wuling Motors in Cikarang (11/07).

However, the developments cannot be seen at a glance. This is because Wuling only made minor developments, especially on the exterior.

“We are still maintaining the iconic design where just by its silhouette, people already know that the vehicle is a Wuling BinguoEV,” he later said.

Wuling BinguoEV comes in two variants, namely Pro and Lite, which have different advantages. Meanwhile, the Premium Range variant is no longer in production.

All options are now equipped with a 31.9 kWh capacity battery, enough for a journey of up to 333 km. In addition, the BinguoEV is also equipped with a fast charging feature (DC Charging).

Thanks to this feature, the battery can be charged from 30 percent to 80 percent in just 35 minutes. Its presence certainly makes it easier for customers who need to charge at public charging stations.

Both variants are also equipped with several other features such as Smart Start & Keyless Entry, USB Port, Multifunction Steering Switch, Full Color Instrument and Head Unit, 4-speaker, and Smartphone Interconnection.

The safety features are also quite complete, namely airbag, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) with AVH, Parking & Rear Camera, ISOFIX, TPMS, and Immobilizer.

However, the Wuling BinguoEV Pro has added LED lights on the front and rear, and is equipped with a rear defogger. The manufacturer has also installed two-tone hubcaps, making its appearance look more dynamic.

Entering the cabin, the seats and steering wheel are upholstered in Caramel Latte-colored synthetic leather. The seating position can also be adjusted electrically.

Meanwhile, the Wuling BinguoEV Lite is designed for customers who want to buy an electric vehicle at a more affordable cost. Unlike the Pro variant, this type still relies on halogen bulb lights and single-tone wheel covers.

A simple impression is also quite noticeable in the cabin as the interior still uses Mocha Latte-colored fabric material.
