KatadataOTO – Wuling BinguoEV is one of the manufacturer's flagship electric cars in the global market. This model has now received a new identity.

Presented as a compact SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle), this vehicle is said to be sold starting from 80,000 yuan or around Rp 183 million in rupiah currency.

Using the name Wuling Bingo S, its exterior design still retains the Binguo identity, such as the fascia and headlight shape.

Furthermore, the Wuling Bingo S still uses conventional-style door handles and is available in a two-tone color combination option.

However, the latest Wuling Binguo's wheel design has been changed to be more assertive to enhance its sporty feel. The size is 16 inches, slightly larger than the standard 15-inch wheels of the previous version.

Wuling has not yet published the technical specifications for the latest BinguoEV. However, data from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) reveals the product's dimensions (L x W x H) are 4,265 mm x 1,785 mm x 1,600 mm with a 2,610 mm wheelbase.

Furthermore, this latest model, like the initial version of the Wuling BinguoEV, has a 5-seater configuration, able to accommodate five people.

Unfortunately, information regarding the LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery capacity of the Wuling Binguo S is not yet known. However, it is mentioned that the Bingo S's electric motor can produce 101 hp and help the vehicle reach speeds of up to 150 km/h.

Considering that SUVs are a popular type of vehicle, it is possible that the Wuling Binguo S will be introduced to the Indonesian market in the future.

If sold domestically, the Binguo S would become a rival to various electric car models from China, such as the BYD Dolphin and Neta X.

In that segment, there is also a new model predicted to launch this year, namely the Geely Geome Xingyuan.

It can be said that the exterior appearance, especially the front fascia of the Geely Geome Xingyuan and the Wuling Binguo S, are quite identical.

Currently, the Wuling BinguoEV in Indonesia is sold at prices starting from Rp 301 million for the Long Range AC type with a range of 333 km.

Above that is the Wuling BinguoEV Long Range AC/DC for Rp 310 million. Meanwhile, the top variant offers a range of 410 km, and can be purchased for Rp 345 million OTR (On The Road) Jakarta.
