Wuling Cloud EV's Most Affordable Variant Launches at IIMS 2025

KatadataOTO – Wuling Motors Indonesia launched its newest model at the IIMS 2025 event. It is a refresh of the Wuling Cloud EV that is here to greet visitors.

The Wuling medium hatchback EV comes with a number of updates. Starting from the Smartphone Interconnected Function, two Charging Port options, to new colors.

This manufacturer from China also introduced the lowest variant of the New Cloud EV, named Lite.

“The New Cloud EV now comes with easy connectivity via the control panel screen. Then there are new exterior colors, namely Tungsten Steel Grey and Aurora Silver,” said Aji Ibrahim, Product Planning for Wuling Motors at JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta (18/02).

It was further stated that the emergence of the cheapest version of the New Cloud EV is due to a shift in consumers. Therefore, Wuling Motors Indonesia deemed it necessary to make updates.

“85 percent of Cloud EV consumers are families. Because of the segment shift, it turns out there are some things that need to be adjusted (added),” said Brian Gomgom, PR Manager of Wuling Motors at the same location.

The Wuling Cloud EV itself offers a comfortable driving experience. An important asset is the spacious cabin, which is 84.7 percent of the body's dimensions.

Then there is the Sofa Mode feature that allows the first-row seats to fully recline. As a result, it increases comfort inside the cabin.

As a family car, the Wuling Cloud EV is also supported by plenty of storage space. There are 18 multipurpose storage compartments to meet the needs of users.

The trunk space offered by the New Cloud EV is also no joke. If the second row is folded, 1,707 liters will be available for storing items.

Besides relying on its newest feature, the Smartphone Interconnection Function. This hatchback is also equipped with a Smart Electric Tailgate.

So the trunk can be opened in various ways including Key Detection, Head Unit, or voice command, which is a Wuling advantage.

As a reminder, the manufacturer with the five-diamond logo is the first producer in Indonesia to introduce a voice command feature in the Indonesian language.

As a result, operating various features inside and outside the car becomes easier and more enjoyable.

The price of the Wuling Cloud EV during the IIMS 2025 exhibition ranges from IDR 365 million to IDR 404 million.
