KatadataOTO – The Wuling Cortez Darion EV and PHEV became one of the new cars that made a stunning appearance at GIIAS 2025. This was proven by the number of Vehicle Order Letters (SPK) received.
During the exhibition at ICE BSD, Tangerang, this product secured 122 vehicle orders (SPK). This proves the high enthusiasm of the visitors.
This is because the Wuling Cortez Darion PHEV and EV were exhibited at GIIAS 2025 without a price. However, many people were interested in buying it.
“We are also presenting a vehicle that is relevant to the needs of the Indonesian people. This is evident from the warm reception for the Cortez Darion,” said Kharismawan Awangga, Sales Operation Director of Wuling Motors in an official statement on Wednesday (07/08).
He detailed that the Wuling Cortez Darion EV contributed 86 percent of the 122 vehicle orders (SPK) collected.
Meanwhile, the Wuling Cortez Darion PHEV accounted for 14 percent of the orders at GIIAS 2025.
This is proof that Wuling's new electric and hybrid car was well-received by the public in Indonesia. As it is considered capable of meeting consumer needs.
Additionally, the Wuling Cortez Darion sets itself apart in the sliding door Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) segment in the country.
This is because the four-wheeled vehicle is offered with two powertrain options. So it can be tailored to the needs of potential buyers.
The Wuling Cortez Darion is claimed to be a 7-seater MPV that provides extra comfort. It also offers a high-class driving experience.
Regarding the dimensions of the Wuling Cortez Darion, it has a length of up to 4,910 mm, a width of 1,850 mm, and a height of 1,770 mm.
The wheelbase of the vehicle from China reaches 2,910 mm. Providing ample space for family members.

For charging, it is supported by a DC (CCS-2) port. Thus, the charging time from 30 percent to 80 percent is only 30 minutes.
Then, the PHEV version is embedded with a 1,500 cc gasoline engine. It is claimed to be able to produce a power of 145 kW or 194 hp.
