KatadataOTO – Wuling Motors is holding a competition titled ‘Move Your Hustle’ to welcome the presence of their newest product, the Wuling EV Van. The Chinese car manufacturer invites business people from various industries to make the EV a vehicle that can support their business.

This competition is expected to show the public that electric cars can be utilized in various conditions.

“The 'Move Your Hustle' competition is held to provide a space for business players to develop their businesses using Wuling's latest commercial EV line, namely the Wuling EV Van," said Danang Wiratmoko, Product Communication Manager of Wuling Motors.

The competition is open from May 1 to June 30, 2025. The method is quite easy: download the Wuling EV Van design template and essay via the Wuling microsite.

After that, participants simply need to upload their Wuling EV Van design and business idea narrative on Instagram. This is followed by filling in personal data, uploading the Wuling EV Van design template, the business idea essay answers, and the Instagram post link on the Wuling microsite.

The jury will select the ten best finalists who will then proceed to the full proposal creation stage and a pitching session in front of the jury. After that, three main winners will be chosen.

The prizes are attractive because the first-place winner is entitled to a cash prize of Rp 100 million, followed by the second-place winner with Rp 30 million and Rp 20 million. Meanwhile, the other seven finalists will receive an e-wallet prize worth Rp 1 million.

It was previously reported that the Wuling EV Van was officially introduced at the Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) 2025. The vehicle is planned to be launched in the third quarter.

As a commercial vehicle, the Wuling EV Van is equipped with various advantages. One of them is its large dimensions: 5,101 mm in length, 1,960 mm in height, 1,800 mm in width, and a cargo capacity of 6.5 m3.

To facilitate the loading and unloading of goods, the Wuling EV Van is equipped with a rear door that can open up to 270 degrees. They also installed a sliding door with a wide opening of 777 mm.

To support its performance, the Wuling EV Van is equipped with a 56.2 kWh capacity battery which, when fully charged, can travel a distance of 400 km (based on the CTLC test). This power is used to drive a 75 kW electric motor.
