KatadataOTO – The Wuling Light of ASEAN concept car is present at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025. This is the first time the vehicle has been displayed outside its country of origin.

The arrival of the Wuling Light of ASEAN seems to show that Indonesia is an important market for the company.

“The presence of this concept car is an embodiment of Wuling's global vision to present smart and sustainable electric vehicle innovations, while also proving that the Southeast Asian market plays a strategic role for Wuling,” said Arif Pramadana, Vice President of Wuling Motors (13/02).

It should be noted that the concept car first debuted at the 21st ASEAN Economic Exhibition in Nanning, China on September 24, 2024. This model is designed with a futuristic look and offers a smart, high-tech driving experience.

This concept car applies an Ultra-Low Aerodynamic Drag design. The goal is to improve aerodynamics for more optimal energy efficiency and performance.

To make it more attractive, the Wuling Light of ASEAN also uses Gullwing Doors, which are commonly used on premium vehicles.

Inside the cabin, Wuling has designed the interior with a Zero Gravity Dual Mode Cabin concept. This design separates the driver and passenger areas to enhance comfort and functionality.

Additionally, the zero-gravity seats with hydraulic balance provide a more relaxed driving sensation. It uses an aircraft cockpit-style control system and an independent audio system, offering a unique sense of luxury.

“We invite IIMS 2025 visitors to come and see Wuling's Light of ASEAN firsthand at JIEXPO Kemayoran Hall D, Booth D2,” stated Arif Pramadana.

The Chinese manufacturer is also offering several conveniences for customers who make purchases during the IIMS 2025 event, for electric, hybrid, and ICE vehicles alike.
