KatadataOTO – The Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) 2025 was successfully utilized by Wuling to market its products. This is evident from the high number of orders they received, even though the exhibition lasted less than a week.

In a statement, it was mentioned that the Chinese manufacturer recorded 282 bookings. This number is claimed to be an increase compared to a similar event last year.

“The results at this year's exhibition increased by 12 percent compared to the previous year. This achievement shows the public's enthusiasm and trust in our innovation,” said Kharismawan Awangga,  Sales Operation Director of Wuling Motors in an official statement (07/05).

It should be noted that out of the 282 bookings, the Air ev accounted for the largest portion with 40 percent, followed by the BinguoEV which contributed 36 percent. Meanwhile, the Cloud EV contributed about 24 percent.

Not only that, during the exhibition, at least 337 people took a test drive. This number shows the high public interest in experiencing the performance of electric cars.

The Wuling Cloud EV was the most tested model with 121 test drives, followed by the BinguoEV with 116. Meanwhile, the Air ev was tested 100 times.

Introducing a New Product

At the PEVS 2025 event, Wuling also introduced their newest product, the EV Van. This electric vehicle will be a new mainstay in the commercial segment.

Although it has just been introduced, the public can already order it by paying a booking fee of IDR 5 million. Meanwhile, the price is estimated to be around IDR 300 million.

Although it is a commercial vehicle, Wuling still pays attention to its appearance. They have equipped it with LED projector headlights and some aerodynamic lines to give it a dynamic impression.

The dimensions of the Wuling EV Van are quite large to accommodate more goods in a single trip. The vehicle is recorded to have a length of 5,101 mm, a height of 1,960 mm, a width of 1,800 mm, and a cargo capacity of 6.5 m3.

To make it easier for customers to load and unload goods, the manufacturer has installed a rear door that can open up to 270 degrees. They also added a sliding door with a 777 mm wide opening.

Its performance cannot be underestimated as the vehicle is equipped with a 56.2 kWh battery which, when fully charged, can travel up to 400 km (based on the CTLC test). This power is used to drive an electric motor with a strength of 75 kW or 100.5 hp.

The Wuling EV Van is equipped with a fast-charging feature, allowing it to charge from 30 percent to 80 percent in just 30 minutes.
