KatadataOTO – Manufacturers are increasingly busy preparing new cars ahead of the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025.

No exception for Wuling Motors, their newest product was recently caught on camera undergoing a road test on the Cipali Toll Road.

This was known from a post on the Instagram account @andreassatria_11. It shows a Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) wrapped in camouflage.

If observed in detail, the car looks like the Wuling Xingguang 730 which was recently introduced in China.

This is evident from its boxy body shape. It also features a taillight that stretches from left to right.

Moving to the side, the car suspected to be the Wuling Xingguang 730 is also equipped with sliding doors.

Meanwhile, at the front, the main headlights are made slightly narrow and are connected to a minimalist grille.

Unfortunately, the details of the new Wuling car cannot be seen perfectly because it is covered in camouflage.

However, a hint of the Wuling Xingguang 730's arrival had been given by Ricky Christian, Marketing Operation Director of Wuling Motors.

He said that they are preparing an electric MPV capable of carrying seven passengers.

“Indeed, the largest market in Indonesia is in the MPV or 7-seater segment, and we already have the platform for it. We hope to bring that model as soon as possible,” Ricky said at the Wuling factory some time ago.

Now Available for Pre-order

On the other hand, the car suspected to be the Wuling Xingguang 730 is already available for pre-order by consumers in Indonesia.

This is because the four-wheeled vehicle is rumored to be launched at the GIIAS 2025 exhibition at ICE BSD, Tangerang.
