KatadataOTOXpeng Indonesia has finally officially announced the prices of their two electric cars for the Indonesian market.

The Electric Vehicle (EV) from China is offered at a competitive price. For example, the Xpeng G6 is priced at Rp 599 million.

Then, the Xpeng X9 electric car is available in three variants: Standard Range Pro, Long Range Pro, and Long Range Pro+.

Each type is sold at a different price. First, the price of the Xpeng X9 Standard Range Pro is Rp 990 million.

Then, the Xpeng X9 Long Range Pro is priced at Rp 1.059 billion. The Long Range Pro+ trim is Rp 1.099 billion.

Xpeng hopes that both of their electric cars will be well-received by consumers in the country. Especially since the prices offered are very competitive.

"Indonesia has always been on our list of global destinations," said James Wu, Vice President of Xpeng in Jakarta, on Thursday (19/06).

For your information, the Xpeng X9 is equipped with an electric motor with a power of 370 kW or 496 hp and a peak torque of 640 Nm.

This car is supported by two battery capacity options. First, an 84.5 kWh battery that can travel up to 610 km on a single charge.

Second, there is a 101.5 kWh capacity battery that can take the Xpeng X9 as far as 720 km. All power is channeled to the front wheels with a front-wheel drive (FWD) system.

This EV is said to be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.7 seconds.

Then, the Xpeng G6 is equipped with an 800V XPower drive motor with a power of 210 kW or 281 hp and a peak torque of 440 Nm.

Just like the X9, the G6 is also offered with two battery options. First, a 66 kWh capacity with a range of up to 435 km.

Lastly, the 87.5 kWh battery version is claimed to be able to travel as far as 570 km on a single charge.

As a reminder, the Xpeng X9 and G6 electric cars will begin to be delivered to consumers at the end of this month.
