KatadataOTO – The PEVS (Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show) 2025 automotive exhibition will be held at JIExpo Kemayoran from April 29 to May 4. Various interesting products will be presented there, all of which are purely electric-powered.

PT MAB (Mobil Anak Bangsa) is bringing one of its innovations, the Birawa EV (Electric Vehicle), which is an electric-powered military vehicle.

This is the first time PT MAB has exhibited the Birawa EV at PEVS 2025. However, it seems the vehicle is not yet for mass sale and is only on display.

The Birawa EV on the floor at PEVS 2025 is a double-cabin pickup with an open top. Its exterior is dominated by a green color.

Appearing tough with sharp angles on the body, the Birawa EV's fascia still looks old-fashioned due to its simple grille design paired with round headlights.

The turn signals are placed on the left and right ends of the fascia. Then in the middle of the grille, there is a blue MAB logo.

The military vehicle is equipped with a lithium battery from CATL with a capacity of 43 kWh. This configuration allows the Birawa EV to travel up to 150 km on a single charge.

Interestingly, according to information from PT MAB, this electric car can be charged in just one hour, making it more time-efficient.

Sufficient power is still offered, just like other conventional military vehicles. The power output reaches 120 kW (160.9 hp), while the peak torque is 350 Nm, and the maximum speed is 150 km/h.

Power is distributed to all four wheels through a Full-Time 4WD (Four-Wheel Drive) system. There are 4H and 4L options that can be used according to the driver's needs.

For reference, the Birawa EV has dimensions of L x W x H at 4,490 mm x 1,825 mm x 1,950 mm, while its wheelbase is 2,600 mm and ground clearance is 225 mm.

If you want to see the Birawa EV unit in person, you can visit PEVS 2025. Exhibition tickets can still be purchased through dyandratiket.com or directly at the exhibition venue.
